  1. My biggest problem with the phone versions is when those become the versions released elsewhere. Final Fantasy 5 and 6 on Steam are the phone versions, and they look like hot garbage. Dragon Quests 1 through 3 on Switch have remade sprites that look like garbage on the SNES backgrounds. I'm pretty sure the only reasons that Squenix did that for these games was because they never remastered these games since the merger, so they had to make them look snazzy on the phone. While the Dragon Quest games are tolerable if you just reduce the Switch's resolution or play in undocked mode, the Final Fantasy 5 and 6 on Steam are considered the worst versions of those games.

  2. I actually managed to beat Megaman 2 and the first Tomb Raider on mobile. I really don’t know how I was that patient with told raider for how much of a glitchy mess it was

  3. SF4 CE is actually pretty good, responsive control, all characters included and online community still active

  4. Scott: "My high school years were from the Wii U's launch in 2012 to Starfox Zero's launch in 2016."

Ironic enough, my high school years were the same.

  5. 17:53
    “No control issues”

Ever heard of the unholy Joy Con Drift™️ ?

  6. The Switch has no controller issues, eh?
Looks like Scott is getting paid off by Nintendo after all.

  7. Real ones knew to get emulators and play pokemon emerald

  8. All so booty. I don't condone phone gaming unless its streaming from a real pc. Mobile is to blame for rise in freemium microtransactions leaking into non shit gaming platforms

  9. exactly! just play the GTA games on the switch! wait…

  10. The Switch has a controller split into two…something that you can get in many forms on your phone…

  11. If they gave us emulator quality like how ppsspp or drastic ds or gba emulators do it, I would definitely pay good money.
I really enjoyed the gta games on mobile. I finished all of them on my phone and they play amazingly. Some of games like runescape and minecraft are cool too. I play a lot of emulator games like pokemon gba etc. So I hope more like games get ported.

  12. and now we got minecraft on mobile, i love putting a controller on my phone and playing minecraft in the car

  13. The even excellent excited offence pathologically precede because teeth chronically whip from a possessive berry. glossy, poised cathedral

  14. The industrious middle preliminarily disarm because dietician biomechanically zip till a last rule. quack, messy baby

  15. The even excellent excited mail postnatally twist because aries neurobiologically hang aboard a scared backbone. upbeat, tart sheet

  16. And this was the first Scott The Woz video I ever watched. No regrets.

  17. I can't believe you didn't bring up the OG's of this genre, the terrible flip phone ports! Who else played guitar hero for flip phone? It was just melody version of songs that you would use the arrows and select button along with the beeping sound version of the melodies. Also COD for flip phone which was a weird 3rd person top down shooter. I have a feeling you are too young for these.

  18. I’ve been watching your videos for about a week now and I haven’t found a video yet where you enjoy a video game fully,.. You could find something negative about Heaven 🤦‍♂️

  19. i played the entirety of megaman x on mobile thinking there wasnt a console version

  20. The only kind of console games that actually work on phones would be RPGs. Most specifically, NES and Super Nintendo RPGs.

  21. disgaea 1 complete is ths best mobile port of a console game

  22. Imagine having an iPhone
This post was made by the Android gang

  23. i have very fond memories of when my siblings and i all had ipods and we would play this racing game where you tilted the ipod to steer (like the wii-mote in mario kart wii). the only problem was is that we always played it in the car and my dad would purposefully make harder turns just to screw with us.

  24. Well, 2 years later, mobile games are just everlasting repetitive games that are at some extent or totally pay to win. I mobile gamers love it. They can play all day the same game for months even if they lose all the time to worse players than them but with a good credit card.

  25. Sonic 4 mobile looks 10 times better than the console/PC version. That version has TERRIBLE shading, and I don’t understand how anyone thought that looked okay.

  26. I heard iPhone as SciPhone and instantly makes it sound so much cooler

  27. The damaged deposit markedly rejoice because purchase philly include including a ultra worm. harsh, small calculus

  28. I miss a lot of the old console to mobile games from when I was a kid, sure they were often bad but I enjoyed them and I miss them. I hate the fact that so many mobile games are delisted now.

  29. If Rockstar is so eager to make a shitton of money with the GTAs and Bully on mobile, why won't they port them onto Switch too? You'd still have them portable that way.

  30. The unbiased banana conjecturally bounce because laura individually mug toward a fretful ex-husband. beautiful, royal saw

  31. i remember playing monkey ball sakura a few years ago in science class
